Abstract
Dry silane XLM50 (XL PEARL 50)is delivered in form of solid, free flowing pellets containing liquid XLM 50(XL PEARL 50), a Silane based, 1 step cross-linking agent for unstabilised LDPE and
LLDPE resins. Designed for LV & MV power cables with copper conductors and jacketing. Our special carrier technology has made it possible to manufacture this highly concentrated batch successfully.
Dry Silane XLM 50 is already equipped with A/O and MD to pass thew ageing test 7 days @ 100° C on copper wire resp. 7 days @ 150° C on aluminium wire.

Feature
Dry Silane XLM50(XL PEARL 50) is free-flowing granules master batch with high silane active content with many advantages as below:
1. A hazardous, highly reactive liquid supplied in the form of dry, free flowing granules.
2. Safe and accurate dosing and dispersion in continuous compounding operations without the need of expensive injection Pumps.
3. Linear extruder output, no slipping effect or squeeze out phenomenon of the silane.
Application
It is mainly used for crosslinking of low- and medium-voltage power cables based on unstabilized polyethylene resins. Improves stability. Prevents premature crosslinking.
Dosage
Depending on the formulation and performance target, a dosage level of 1~2% active silane is needed (e. G. When using XLM50-LD, an addition of 4- 5 % is recommended).
Packing
This product is available in 20 kg aluminum foil bag and 200 liters steel drum. Other custom-tailor packing is possible on special request.
