Abstract
3-Isocyanatopropylmethyldimethoxysilane CAS 26115-72-0, Silane coupling agent SCA-Y25T, is a unique isocyanate functional silane. The isocyanate functionality exhibits the typical reactivity of an alkyl isocyanate and will react with most reactive hydrogen containing compounds. The silane portion of these products can then crosslink with each other or be used to adhere to a variety of substrates.

Applications and Performance
SCA-Y25T can be used as an adhesion promoter in paints and coatings, adhesives and sealants industries.
SCA-Y25T can be used to improve mechanical and chemical properties of composites, acting as a coupling agent and a surface modifier, to enhance bonding between organic polymers and inorganic substrates.
SCA-Y25T can be used as a resin modifier in silane-terminated polymers (known as MS polymers) and silyl modified polyurethane polymers (SPUR polymers).
SCA-Y25T can be used as a crosslinker and a tackifier of RTV and enhance the bonding between
rubber and inorganic substrates.
