Abstract
2, 2'-Methylenebis(4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol), antioxidant CAPOX 2246, (CAS No. 119-47-1), is an excellent, non-discoloring, non-staining hindered phenolic antioxidant and thermal stabilizer. Typical applications include hot-melt adhesives, natural rubber adhesives, ABS, EVA, polypropylene and polyethylene. CAPOX 2246 also functions as an oxidation inhibitor for fats, oils and paraffin wax.

Application
CAPOX 2246 is mainly used as antioxidant in natural rubber, latex, synthetic latex, as well as kinds of plastic products. Also in oil products and fattiness food, it can act suitable antioxidant. This product has low toxicity and volatility, no pollution coloration to the applied products. It's a widely applied hindered phenolic antioxidant.
