Abstract
Dry silane XLM30+2 is free-flowing granules masterbatch of liquid silane XLP30 and additional metal deactivator and antioxidant, XLP30 is a vinyl silane mixture cross-linking system developed for use in moisture cross-linking of low and medium voltage cables, with a foamed polymer as the carrier. Silane XLP30 is the equivalent product to XL PEarl® 30 of Momnetive OSi Specialties.
Dry silane XLM30+2 contains metal deactivators and antioxidants; Therefore it need not be used with stabilized base resins or with suitable masterbatches.

Application
It is mainly used for crosslinking of low- and medium-voltage power cables and tube based on stabilized polyethylene resins.
Dosage
Depending on the formulation and performance target, a dosage level of 1~2% active silane is needed (e. G. When using XLM30+2LL1, an addition of 2.5- 5 % is recommended).
Packing
This product is available in 20 kg aluminum foil bag and 200 liters steel drum. Other custom-tailor packing is possible on special request.
Storage and shelf life
Should be stored in dry, cool, ventilated room; Keep away from water, moisture, high temperature and fire. Packages already opened should be used up immediately; Otherwise this product will react with the moisture in the air and will be not qualified for use.
This product has a shelf life of at least 6 months in the original packing.
