CapatueTM ADP-S421 is a kind of adhesion promoter specially used for additional type silicone sealant. It is an alkoxy silane oligomers containing vinyl groups.It has good wetting ability to the surface of hard-to-stick substrate, it is mainly used to improve adhesion and water resistance of additional type silicone sealant to glass, ceramics, metal (such as aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) and polar resin (such as PC, Pet, PA, etc.) .

Mechanism of Reaction
The vinyl functional group of ADP-S421 can participate in the hydrosilylation of additional type silicone sealant, the alkoxy groups at the other end of their molecular structure hydrolyze to form silicon hydroxyl groups after being exposed to air, which can condense with the silicon hydroxyl groups on the surface of the substrate, through this bidirectional chemical bonding reaction, a strong"Molecular bridge" is built on the interface between the silica gel and the substrate, which can significantly improve the adhesion and water resistance of the additive silica gel to the substrate.
