SLC-VS928 (Silcat VS-928 from Momentive) is a fully stabilized a crosslinking system(silence, peroxide, catalyst, antioxidants and metal deactivator)for the manufacture of crosslinked polyethylene LV&MVcables using the Monosil one step process. It provides excellent performance on equipment designed for monosil technology.
1. SLC-VS928 (Silcat VS-928 from Momentive)can be used with a wide range of non-stabilized polyethylene grades for optimum cost-effectiveness
2. with an appropriate resin, insulated copper cables crosslinked with SLC-VS928(Silcat VS-928 from Momentive) can meet the IEC aging test of 10 days at 135c
3. a high onset temperature for grafting improves process stability and minimizes Pregrafted/crosslinked partices in the insulation layer
